In May of 2009, The Sustainable Fisheries, Sustainable Ports: The Port Orford Marine Economic Recovery Plan was selected by Governor Kulongoski's Oregon Way committee as a stimulus project to enhance the economy and support green building initiatives in Port Orford, Oregon. One component of the project is to construct an Marine Interpretive Center to educate and inform visitors about Sustainable Fisheries and area history. The Marine Interpretive Center will partner with the local Visitor Center located at Battle Rock Park in the city of Port Orford.

This short survey will assist planners in the construction and design of the Marine Interpretive Center.
